A dazzlingly diverse recital travels across four continents with the virtuosity and imaginative flair that are hallmarks of Eilis O'Sullivan's playing.
Her travelling companion is the guitarist Jerry Creedon, presenting both arrangements and original works that tap into ancient cultures of expression through sound and music in order to ‘liberate ourselves from the everyday’.

Flautist Eilis O'Sullivan and classical guitarist Jerry Creedon are looking forward to performing Workshops for Tuning Up, Cork County Council’s Music in Schools programme. Tuning Up is managed by West Cork Music and brings leading classical musicians into Cork schools. In October and November,Eilís and Jerry will present iworkshops to schools in Timoleague, Crosshaven, Goleen, Kilcrohane,and Lissavaird. This workshop will stimulate students in the areas of creativity, music and individual expression. Each performance is linked to an age-appropriate ‘road map’ of musical understanding and the programme will include Latin, Far East, Folk and American Classics to transport students around the world.

Jerry Creedon & Friends will perform in St. Barrahane’s Church of Ireland, Castletownshend, Co. Cork on Thursday 21 July at 8.00pm. This concert is part of St. Barrahane’s Church 40th Festival of Music series.
Classical guitarist Jerry Creedon will be joined by flautist Eilis O’Sullivan and cellist Hugh McCarthy in a fascinating mix of the classical and the modern, all involving the guitar, in a programme ranging from the cool jazz of Thelonius Monk to the Tango sensations of Astor Piazzolla.
This concert will be marking the true ‘40th’ celebration, as Jerry Creedon took part in the very first Festival. There will be a little surprise for everyone in the audience!
